MEET THE GIRL BEHIND DAVE'S GARAGE

I'm Tayler Heaviland, creator of Dave's Garage!

But a lot of local folk know my dad, Dave, from Dave's Service Center! My online store was inspired by my family's real auto-repair shop called Dave's Service Center in Blue Springs, Missouri! Oh and my love of cars of course!

Dave's Service Center has been open and serving customers since 1973! We celebrated our 50 year anniversary in March 2023!

My parents and I have our own Mustangs and you can commonly find us at local car show most of the time. We even host our own car show at Dave's Service Center in September each year! We love being apart of the car community and seeing others love it just as much as us.

Growing up in business, especially car business, I love the amount of opportunities that come out of it; like bonding with our customers and talking about all the fun events cars bring us! Because of that, we thought why not use this as a business opportunity!

I have always been the one to tell my dad that we need to create something for all the car people like us. Yes we probably have too many car t-shirts, but we wanted to create something that felt like it came directly from the garage or the shop.

So that's when I brought Dave's Garage to life! Every car event I would go to I would always buy a t-shirt so I started off simple by promoting our shop! That's where the first collection started! You can find our classic Dave's work tees in the Dave's Service Collection, featured on our home page!

Then the creativity never stopped! In my first 2 months, I was able to create and produce 12 new designs to take to the Kansas City World of Wheels show back in March of 2023! I got to meet so many new car people and get amazing feed back on my newest designs! This company is specifically dedicated to all lovers for motored vehicles, not just cars but trucks and everything in between! Newer collections for 4x4 vehicles will be dropping late this summer!
